Cultivation is a documentary film by Gioacchino Taliercio, MS ‘14,
that features the ground‑breaking work of
Joan Dye Gussow, EdD, Mary Swartz Rose Professor Emeritus of
Nutrition and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Cultivation captures the essence of Joan’s
life-changing “Nutritional Ecology” course.
Joan is a pioneer in connecting the nutrition field
to ecological sustainability.
